قدمـــت رانج روفـــر في بداية عام 1970 م للطــرقات الوعرة والذي يقـــلدها الجمـــيع . وهي افضل سيارة دفع ربـــاعي .وفازت رانج روفـــر بجائزة أفضــل ســـيارة لعـــام 2002. و تحـــت خطـــوط الجديده يوجـــد هيكل احـــادي بدلا من الهـــيكل السفـــلي الـــسابق .

الاول : توربوديــزل من 6 سلندر مع 24 صمام تبــلغ سعته 3 ليترات و يــولد 174 حصــان .
الثاني : بنــزين من 8 سلندر مع 32 صمــام تبلــغ سعته 4.4 ليتـر و يولد 282 حصانا .

<span style='color:darkred'>الدفع رباعي مستمر مع علبه تحويل بنـــسبتين عالية و منخفضة و علــبة التروس هي اوتوماتيكـــية من 5 نسب امـــامية مع نظام تعشيق يدوي ووضعـــينتين عادية و رياضـــية و مـــازالت السيارة مزوده بجهــاز التعليق الهوائي الــذي يوفر عدة وضعيات ارتفاع حســـب الحاجة .</span>

ومــن داخل السيــارة فقد حافــظ رانج روفر على الفخـــامه في ادق التفاصيل التي تتميز بها و من مميزاتها .. المقـــاعد الجلدية و التابلــوه الخشبية و فتحة السقــف و مقاعدها تعـــمل بالكهربااء مع عــــدة وضعيات للذاكرة . و جهـاز الملاحة مع بعض موديـــلات رانـــج روفــر.
