Academic Qualifications
We accept students with a diverse range of entry qualifications and from varying backgrounds. If your qualification does not appear in the list below, please contact the Admissions Office and we will be able to advise you further.
• Good grades in the 12th grade Tawjihiya or its equivalent (12th grade Shahadat-al-thanawia-al-a'ama, 12th grade Al-bakaalouriya al-fanniya or other 12th grade leaving certificates)
• Alternatively you need a minimum of five 'O' levels (GCSE grade 'C' or above in the UK) including English and Maths and at least three 'AS' levels. (Grades will be considered on a case by case basis before making an offer)
• A successful year of post 'O' level study at Further Education level, preparing students for a four year university programme will also be considered for entry to the MUPP.
• African school leaving certificates such as the WACE, SSCE or KCSE and Indian and Pakistani school leaving certificates such as ICSE, CBSE and FSc will also be considered
• The International Baccalaureate with average grades is also accepted
English Language Requirements
All applicants must demonstrate competence in the use of English language.
The normal minimum requirement is a grade C 'O' level (GCSE in UK) in English (not English as a Second Language) or 70% in English in the XIIth standard Indian school leaving certificate or an IELTS grade 6.0, TOEFL 550 or CBT 217 or equivalent.
If you fall short of this requirement you may be offered pre-sessional tutorial support in English for Academic Purposes (EAP).



Tuition Fees
Tuition fee and other charges for 2005/2006 are given below in AED (with approximate USD conversions). There will be a small increase in fees each year.
