English Poem - Dangerous Addiction

Here I come, rushed with a tiring hunger
wont you feed the beast
wont you satisfy its burning desire
Sweet Addiction, Killing Addiction, My addiction
I come to you willingly, no, I come forcefully!


A beast that dragged a beast for its addictive feast
A Soul that dragged a body to its heavenly getaway
A Tingling wave that shakes the very fibre of the soul
I can't control my yearning, I can't get enough
The more I get the hungrier I get!


was I destined to such hurtful addiction
why don't I let go, why dont I break the spell
an overwhelming desire that weakens every muscle
once you're satisfied, you feel the self hatred
an unexplained feeling that shatters a shattered heart
A deadly, alluring trap that gives you pleasure prior to pain
A dream that turns into the scariest nightmare


I just took a sip and I just cant stop!
Its decided
It will end now


I will throw it away, no, I will burn it
It will taste its own pain
It will sip its own poison
then it will dissapear, for good.
